Infrared Reflective Pigments

Thermal barrier pigments are those that are more reflective in the infrared region than normal pigments, and these are pigments that can be expected to suppress the rise in object temperature.

IRR Black (#6301, #6340) has high reflectivity in the infrared region, which mitigates the temperature rise of coated objects. This pigment has attracted particular attention in recent years as a countermeasure against global warming.
